There are currently only 72 living architects who have been elected to the National Academy. They include: Philip Johnson, Richard A. Meier, Frank O. Gehry, Henry N. Cobb and I.M. Pei.

Some of the painters who are current members include Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, Gyorgy Kepes, Frank Stella, Andrew Wyeth and Larry Rivers. Sculptors include Aldo Casanova, Claes Oldenburg and Richard Hunt.

Ron was elected based upon recogniziing the North Shore Unitarian Church (Deerfield, Illinois) € Hope Unitarian Church (Tulsa, Oklahoma) € Congregation KAM/ISAIAH ISRAEL (Chicago, Illinois) € and The Dirsmith Group's International Traveling Exhibit, "The Creative Human Environment."
